David Morton (He/Him)

As CEO of THE MAC Group, I bring more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, corporate housing, real estate and relocation. My career began with some of the world’s leading hotel brands, including Four Seasons and Westin Hotels, before I went on to build our family of businesses.

My background in hospitality has shaped the way I approach everything we do. Whether someone is relocating across the country or around the world, staying with us for several months or planning a Caribbean vacation, I believe exceptional service begins with understanding their needs and making every step of the experience as seamless as possible.

  • MAC Real Estate Services Inc., Brokerage – Our Ontario real estate brokerage, helping buyers, sellers, investors and relocating clients navigate the real estate market.
  • MAC Relocation Solutions – A Destination Services Provider (DSP) across Canada, together with Household Goods (HHG) move management globally. From pre-arrival planning and home finding to settling-in services, temporary accommodation and household goods, we help coordinate a relocation from A to Z.
  • MAC Caribbean Villas – Luxury vacation villa rentals in Martin/St. Maarten, Anguilla and St. Barth’s, with a carefully selected portfolio of exceptional Caribbean properties.
  • Canadian Immigration – Zohil-Morton Law – We work closely with Zohil-Morton Law, a Canadian immigration law firm led by immigration lawyer Cristina Zohil-Morton, allowing our clients to access Canadian immigration legal services alongside their relocation, housing and destination-service needs.

I am a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Hospitality and Tourism program, and have always believed that the most valuable lessons in business come from taking care of people, solving problems and building relationships that last.

Outside of business, child welfare has been especially important to me for more than two decades. My family and I have been longtime supporters of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, providing scholarships and financial support to help young individuals build brighter futures. I was also proud to be involved in the early days of what has become For the Love of Youth (FLY), helping young individuals transitioning out of care establish their first homes by providing furniture and household items.

At THE MAC Group, we believe every child and every young adult deserves an opportunity to succeed.

After more than 30 years, I am still inspired by the same things that motivated me at the beginning: meeting people, solving problems and finding a way to make things happen.

Doriana Zohil-Morton (She/Her)

As President of THE MAC Group, I bring more than 30 years of experience in real estate, executive corporate housing, global relocation and hospitality. Along the way, I have built a family of businesses around a philosophy that has always been important to me: It’s not business. It’s personal.

  • Canadian Immigration – Zohil-Morton Law– We work closely with Zohil-Morton Law, a Canadian immigration law firm led by immigration lawyer Cristina Zohil-Morton. Together, we can connect our clients with Canadian immigration legal services alongside their relocation, temporary housing, permanent housing and destination-service needs.

While my businesses are a huge part of my life, so is giving back.

Child welfare, animal welfare and advancing equity for women are causes that are incredibly close to my heart. I have supported the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada since 2002 and am a founding member of For the Love of Youth (FLY), which helps young adults transitioning out of the child welfare system establish their first homes. I have also been involved in initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity and equity for women, both within my industry and beyond.

I’ve been humbled and honoured to receive recognition along the way for both professional and community service including:

Hélène Leduc (She/Her), Sales Representative and Accredited Seniors Agent, BA Translation, MA Translation & Public Affairs. Maggie Zohil-Morton (She/Her), BA in Health Studies from Queen’s University, and MA in Health Promotion from Dalhousie University, is a versatile and invaluable member of The MAC Group. Since joining in 2014 as a Consultant, Maggie has made significant contributions across various facets of the business, including Sales, Operations, and Marketing. Cristina Zohil-Morton (She/her), LLB, LLM, is the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Zohil-Morton Law, specializing in Canadian Immigration Law services. With a deep passion for assisting individuals in navigating the complexities of the immigration processes, Cristina offers professional legal guidance to those seeking to relocate to Canada. She is well-versed in all aspects of residency solutions, ensuring that her clients receive personalized support, every step of the way.

Cristina holds an LLM from the University of Law, as well as an LLB from the University of Birmingham, both of which are in England. After being called to the Canadian Bar in March 2024, she has quickly established herself as a trusted advocate in the field of Canadian Immigration Law.
